Why Are We Qualified To Teach You?


Our teacher, Mr Chen is the ranked No. 10 math Olympian in Singapore and has a wealth of experience from teaching for over 15 years.

Mr Chen is a first-class honors graduate of Engineering (Chemical) at the National University of Singapore, and was formerly from Hwa Chong Institution.

As a student, he often tops his cohort in Math and has won numerous awards in Math Olympiads from primary to high school levels.

Mr Chen has also coached prestigious schools and has helped our students enter the national team and win national competitions such as the IMO.

Mr Chen’s qualifications and experience allows him to provide unique perspectives when teaching, helping your child to understand complex concepts with ease.

He often follows the principle of explaining until a student gets it.

But not by repeating his explanations but figuring out different ways to explain, as he understands that every child learns differently.

What Our Students Have Been Achieving...


1. Certificate of Distinction is awarded to all students who receive a perfect score. Awards will be given to the perfect score winner.

2. The top three students for each school will receive respectively First Place, Second Place or Third Place certificate for outstanding achievement.

3. AMC8 Honor Roll of Distinction certificate is awarded to the top 1% of students. (In 2022, score>22)

4. AMC8 Honor Roll is awarded to the top 5% of high scoring students. (In 2022, score of >/= 18) 

5. AMC8 Certificate of Achievement is awarded to students in Grade 6/Primary 6 and below for their outstanding performance. (In 2022, score of >/= 15/25) 

6. AMC8 Certificate of Participation (E-copy) is awarded to al students who have participated in the AMC 8 Competition.

7. AMC8 School Certificate of Merit is awarded to all schools with a team score of 50 or more. The team score is tabulated based on the combined score of the top 3 students.

8. AMC8 School Certificate of Honor is awarded to all schools with a team score of 66 or more. The team score is tabulated based on the combined score of the top 3 students.
